A few words
I started with mental health in 2010 when I began pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology, from there I earned my master’s degree in Forensic Psychology in 2015 and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020. I have worked with law enforcement in various capacities throughout my employment experiences. I am married to a veteran. Through my experience with working with law enforcement and my love for my husband, I developed a passion for our first responders and veterans.
I am dedicated to tearing down the stigma that asking for help is weakness. It takes more strength to ask for help than it does to pack the emotions away. Our first responders have dedicated their lives to helping those in need and protecting our communities. Code 1 Wellness is about giving back to them in their time of need and letting them know they are not alone. My focus is on creating a therapy department that allows for us to meet first responders, veterans, and their families on their schedules and with minimal disruption is imperative. Additionally, the training our therapists go through give them a specialized edge to truly provide one-of-a-kind treatment for our first responders and veterans. Code 1 Wellness is a leader in the mental health industry with their groundbreaking focus and wellness programs and I am truly honored to be a part of it.
