Brandy McCool
A few words
About Me
Brandy McCool is a driven leader, with 7 years of experience in healthcare sales and account management. Most of her career has been spent in the space of behavioral health and addictions treatment. She served 12 years in the Army Reserves and two tours in one of the top combat roles of the Iraqi war — transportation.
Her first tour was with the 129th TC as a Heavy Equipment Transporter and her second with the 428th TC as a 915 Semi Operator. She earned her mechanics badge on her first tour, served as Truck Commander and Cargo Loadmaster for multiple missions, and wrapped up her career stateside as a Platoon Sergeant with the 7228th MSU. Having also been a military spouse, she is familiar with that role and both the hardships and beauty it brings. Brandy is a huge advocate for being open and transparent, and reducing the stigmas surrounding mental health and addiction issues.
She finds beauty in sharing her own struggles to readjust to civilian life upon returning home from deployments, in an effort to help others. She is a proud mom of 2, MU alum, and loves to volunteer her time to Code 1 and other organizations that help provide valuable mental health resources for her fellow Veterans and their families.
